The first and only model of the KuSakura range made in China, this white belt is perfectly suited for beginners.
As a rather thick model, this Obi keeps the jacket better in place while stabilizing the hips than belts cut from fabric rolls.
For practitioners focusing on the practice of the Kata in Judo and intending to wear a white belt for several years, we would rather recommend the , that is more resistant and made in Japan.
The size table and recommendation is available by clicking on the "How to Choose your Judo belt" above the description, or on the dedicated page.
The waist size indicated is a standard recommendation. Please adjust the length to your liking, shorter or longer than the classic IJF standards.
The recommendation is made with a standard 'Judo' knot, not a double knot. If you do not do a simple knot, please consider a half-size longer to allow more room for the knot. Same advice for thick belts (which isn't the case of this IJF belt).
Please be careful with embroidery length as it might get caught in the knot. Allow 3 cm / letter in Japanese, which means a standard name sur as "Christopher" translated in Japanese as "クリストファー" would be about 20 cm long. We recommend avoiding long embroidery, or first familly name if you have long names.
